March 3 Submission Deadline Approaching! Calling All Teen Filmmakers! HC DrugFree is looking for teens to create Public Service Announcements (PSAs) that focus on preventing prescription & over-the-counter drug misuse and abuse in youth ages 12 to 25 for the HoCo FilmFest. Submission deadline is March 3, 2014. The winning film, if appropriate, will run as a PSA on HC DrugFree's website, at HC DrugFree programs across Howard County, in local media, and in other ways determined appropriate by HC DrugFree. Don't Flush those Meds! National Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Start collecting expired and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medicines for proper disposal. Keep them out of the hands of youth and our water supply. Convenient drop-off locations will be announced closer to the event. Stuck with hypodermic needles, syringes or EpiPens and don't know what to do with them?
