Facade Enhancement Program gets another $100K for 2015
Downtown Tiffin's Facade Enhancement program provides reimbursement grants up to cover 50% of exterior building improvements in the historic downtown area, up to $10,000 per project. In December, Tiffin City Council opted to double the amount of funding from $50,000 to $100,000 for 2015. Applications are now being accepted now.

Irving Equipment receives $350K Regional 166 Loan
The Regional 166 Loan program is a state funded program that can finance up to 40% of the total cost of a business fixed capital asset investment (land, building, M&E, renovation, etc.) The interest rates are fixed and below market. When Irving Equipment looked at how to finance their $1.1 million expansion (including equipment and building renovation), they were put in contact with Steve Shuleva at the Ohio Statewide Development Corporation, who helped them secure a Regional 166 Loan.

Bill Auxter, Director of the Small Business Development Center
An entrepreneurial veteran, including owning his own commercial printing business, Bill Auxter serves as the Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosted by Terra State Community College in Fremont. The SBDC is a federal and state program which helps small and growing businesses. This SBDC covers Seneca County, and Bill is here several times a month. He has a passion for helping new and existing business owners take their business to the next level, and he does this primarily through free-to-the-public seminars and one-on-one business counseling. He has regularly scheduled "office hours" at the Seneca Regional Chamber.
