Young Naturalist Story Hour - Astronomical Investigations

Join Guadalupe River State Park's Ranger Craig for an hour of astronomy exploration! We'll conduct activities that help us understand how craters form, figure out how the phases of the moon occur and we'll even take a look at the sun through a telescope with a special filter! Registration is required.
Starting and ending on the famed LBJ Ranch, the routes take riders under majestic live oaks, past historical landmarks that figured prominently not only in the Johnson family history, but also in U.S. presidential history.

CASA to Host 30th Anniversary Party and Fundraiser
CASA of Central Texas invites the community to put on tropical shirts and grass skirts and head down Route 1 to the Islands to celebrate three decades of advocating for abused and neglected children in Central Texas.
CASA in the Keys will be held Friday, April 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stelzenhaus on the Wurstfest Grounds in New Braunfels. Guests will enjoy an Island Keys-themed evening of fun and entertainment, including dinner, silent and live auctions, interactive games and live music by Texas Tides. The evening will also recognize the 30-year anniversary of the program's incorporation.

www.casacentex.org or over the phone at 830.626.2272. Auctions will include scuba diving lessons, Whataburger for a year, wine tasting for ten and more.
Sponsorships are still available and live and silent auction items are needed.
