Catch a ride this Independence Day to the Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks at Auditorium Shores and avoid downtown parking and traffic congestion.

MetroRail will operate an extended schedule, with last departures from downtown at 2:30 a.m. (Sun.). MetroRapid will run on a 15-minte frequency from 8 p.m. to midnight on Sat., July 4. In addition, many Local buses offer service to/from Auditorium Shores. Night Owl buses will run on their regular schedules, every 20 to 30 minutes, from midnight to 3 a.m.

Bus detours will be in effect from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4. Riders can use the Trip Planner to find out where to catch Local buses and MetroRapid after the event.

Riders can download the free CapMetro App to plan trips, buy passes and check real-time departure info on the go. Exact change is not needed to buy passes when using the app.
