This workshop is designed to give attendees an introductory understanding of QuickBooks - the most widely used accounting software for small businesses. QuickBooks has a desktop version as well as an online version. The workshop will use the desktop version to demonstrate the material. Differences and similarities with the online version will be discussed where appropriate.

This workshop is intended for QuickBooks users at the beginner level.
Attendees will learn:
- Which version - desktop or online - of QuickBooks is best suited to their company.
- How to perform the initial set up of their company in QuickBooks.
- How to maintain their company's chart of accounts.
- How to create invoices and record cash receipts.
- How to pay vendor bills.
- How to generate financial reports such as the balance sheet and income statement.
