Martin County issuing quarterly budget reports

 

In the spirit of transparency and open government, Martin County is now issuing a quarterly budget status report and is sharing the report online on our website at www.martin.fl.us. The quarterly report is prepared by the Martin County Board of County Commissioners' Office of Management and Budget and reviews revenue collections and spending by County department.

 

County Administrator Taryn Kryzda said, "We are providing this information for the purpose of timely and transparent publication of Martin County's financial information within the primary government and for the general public's benefit."

 

The content of the report includes an overview of the budget, as well as unaudited accounting data for actual revenues and expenditures. The County's accounting system, Banner, is the sole source of numeric data for this report.

 

The quarter two update for the fiscal year 2015 is available for viewing and download. Visit www.martin.fl.us and click on Hot Topics or click on Departments-->Administration-->Budget.
