In the ninth grade Introduction to Engineering Design course, engineering students have been designing and building hydraulic systems that aid patients that suffer from specific genetic disorders. In their biology class students have become experts on the genetic causes of these diseases and their effects, therefore assisting their ability to design hydraulic mechanisms to assist them.

We are excited to announce that Energy Institute High School students have received a special invitation to participate as presenters at the 2016 Offshore Technology Conference!
This is an open call for all students interested in competing for one of three coveted presentation spots! Students are encouraged to create teams of up to four students and develop a project and presentation that connects work you've done in the classroom, personal interests, or invention ideas to the Offshore Technology sector. The requirements are vague to encourage your creativity. Interested teams will be paired with an industry mentor who can help provide context and support as you prepare.
All teams will present their projects to a team of industry professionals for final judging! If you are interested please see Mrs. MacGregor or Ms. Moon as soon as possible. Deadlines and more details to come soon! |
Semester final exams will start Tuesday December 15th and be completed by Friday, December 18th. Students will have two finals a day except for Friday, they will just have their last one.
