"For a year, I was locked inside the house and beaten until I could not walk or sit. I was starved. I felt helpless.

After Ayuda, I am safe. I have a job, a place to live, and food. I have a status to stay in this country.

Ayuda helped me put the earth back

under my feet."

Second annual training a success!

Ayuda's Language Access Program held its second annual provider training on July 15.

Over 50 civil legal service professionals gathered at Alston & Bird for the training where Language Access Director, David Steib, and Language Access Deputy Director, Carolina Herrera, presented programmatic updates for the Community Legal Interpreter Bank project and introduced new policies and procedures for the new fiscal year.  We thank Jon Fee (pictured above) and Jason Waite from Alston & Bird for hosting the event.
