Dann Sytsma and Brian Lam – Improv Effects
Walking into a conversation where you can’t predict what will be said, and knowing that you are required to respond – that’s scary stuff for many people.
Conversations and situations that come out of left field can leave us struggling to find the right words, and the right voice, for the situation.
In this regard, Improv is much like the spiritual journey: in both you must release your ego’s need for control, live with uncertainty, pay close attention, develop trust, and exercise great kindness to yourself and others.
This morning will give you a sample of what Improv is like through fun exercises led by two kind, skilled facilitators. It’s a safe environment in which to trust the process, hone your skills, and have a great time!
Registration is $45 when received by April 8; $55 thereafter. Please register by April 15. Payment in full is due prior to arrival.
