Global Advent Calendar

Starts this Sunday, November 29
through December 24

Join others of all ages at Christ Church and around the world in creating a Global Advent Calendar. Each day you will have an opportunity to take a photo of something in your world that exemplifies the Advent word for that day. Then, you are invited to share your photos on social media using #AdventWordCCE (or by emailing them to us) so that we can all see what Advent looks like through each others' eyes. Join the Christmas Eve Choir

Rehearsals Start Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7:15 PM

It is our tradition to open up the adult choir to all adults and youth 16+ who are interested in singing on Christmas Eve and we hope you will consider joining us!

The Christmas Eve Choir will sing at the 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM worship services on December 24. If you are interested, please come to the rehearsals on Thursdays from 7:15-8:15 PM on December 3, 10, and 17. A rehearsal with instrumentalists will also be held Monday December 21, 7:00 - 9:00 PM.

"Love Came Down" Children's Christmas Pageant

Saturday, Dec. 12, 5:00 PM

Please bring your friends and family and join us for Love Came Down, our musical Christmas pageant. It is the story of three siblings who are missing a friend and are feeling alone. Through the friend's Christmas card from far away, they learn that Love came down at Christmas for just that purpose: so we are never alone. A wonderful blend of this modern day setting and the traditional Nativity story, the pageant, written by Keith and Lara Tan, features 31 direct Scripture quotes and over 50 Scripture references, contemporary and traditional Christmas music and, of course -- a mega-dose of cuteness and talent provided by the children!

Hope & Resurrection's The Giving Tree

Dec. 6-20 in the Milling Area

Thanks to the support of Christ Church, the students at Hope and Resurrection Secondary School in South Sudan are becoming the leaders their country so desperately needs. Beginning Dec. 6 The Giving Tree will be in the milling area and staffed by people eager to share the stories of these inspiring students. Take a handmade ornament from the tree, make a financial contribution, and become part of this tremendously successful project that is changing lives in South Sudan.

Also, after worship on Dec. 5 & 6, join Hope for Humanity board members in the parlor for a brief informational program.
