Garden Party in honor Ms. Deane Cody
Retiring 2nd Grade Teacher
June 17, 2:00 to 3:30PM

Please join us in Claypit Hill's garden to enjoy cake and lemonade as we wish Deane Coady a happy journey in her upcoming retirement. Ms. Coady has been a devoted teacher, mentor and friend at Claypit Hill School for the last 15 years. She has also been the magical creator of our organic gardens; a special addition to our playground! All Claypit Hill families and students (past and present), community members and Wayland staff members are invited to stop by and wish Ms. Coady a Happy Retirement! Sensory-Friendly Performance in Boston
Autism Speaks - New England Chapter
Saturday, June 20, 11:00AM

Minor production changes will make the Blue Man Group show more sensory-friendly, including the reduction of sound and light levels. Audience supports will be in place including headphones, trained volunteers, and a calming area. 

3rd Annual Eric Chase Blood Drive
June 20 at WHS
Bloodmobiles from Dana-Farber and Children’s Hospital are coming again on Saturday, June 20, to Wayland High School.  Eric, WHS Class of ’08 was a senior at University of Vermont when he lost his fierce battle with leukemia. Honor his zest for life while meeting old and new friends at our day-long festivities. New this year; the New England Donor Bank will be on hand with organ donation info.

Water Wise Workshops

These free, outdoor, community workshops offer children ages 6-10 a fun, hands-on chance to explore rivers, creatures, water conservation, and much more in our watersheds, at Lake Cochituate State Park in Natick.

BASE Option for Half Day Kindergarten
2015-2016 School Year

Through the WSCP Before-After School Extension (BASE), there is an extended day program for kindergarteners in the district's half-day program. There will be one half-day classroom in each of the three elementary schools this fall. To learn about the program, go to the link here:
