Let's Care About How We Represent our Listings to the Public
Are you following the requirements of Articles 2 & 12 of the Code of Ethics when you are writing pubic remarks in MLS?   

 

Article 2 prohibits REALTORS® from misrepresenting and exaggerating the property.  Article 12 requires REALTORS® to paint a "true picture" of the property in all representations.

Remember that  "public remarks" are those which consumers see when browsing pubic websites.  When they read your remarks they assume you are accurately describing the property not just writing pretty words that sound good.  Consumers are educated and some look for key words that fit their criteria.

The CMR Nominating Committee made up of Past Presidents of the Association met on

July 23, 2015 and presents the following slate of Officers and Directors.

All nominations for the officers and directors shall be presented to the REALTOR® membership electronically at least 30 days prior to the election at the September 1 Membership Meeting.  

 

Additional candidates for the offices to be filled can be placed in nomination by a petition signed by at least twenty (20) percent of the REALTOR members. The petition shall be filed with the Executive Officer at least two weeks before the election. The Executive Officer shall send notice of such additional nominations to all members eligible to vote before the election.
