James Napoli - a recent hire for UVAA, James is the Digital Editor at Dartmouth Alumni Magazine. He supports our work via social media and by updating the UVAA website. Welcome James!


Louis Cornell and Joanne Wise, founders, continue to manage the organization. This Spring they are connecting with arts organizations to assess and build a database of Arts Educational opportunities throughout our region. This interactive database will be available online in June. An announcement will be made when it is available.

State Art News

New Hampshire - Ginnie Lupi, newly-appointed Executive Director of the NH State Council on the Arts, has updated the NHSCA website  with many interesting facts. Click here for information on Art Matters and to find portals on Arts Education, Arts in Health, Heritage + Traditional Arts, and more. PLUS, sign up for Art Starts, an e-news bulletin that brings you timely updates from NHSCA as well as local, regional and national sources.

Vermont
- Alex Aldrich continues to direct the Vermont Arts Council. This vibrant organization's blog is chock full of interesting posts.

New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) Creative Communities Exchange


JUNE 2-3: "CCX" is a peer-to-peer exchange of strategies used in successful creative economies initiatives around New England. Hosted by Arts Alive, this two-day event will take place in various locations in Keene, including a reception at the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough.  Click here for more information.
