Tracking Holiness
Vol. 26,  No. 1                 Be the Thing You See                        Spring 2015
HERE IS YOUR NEW ISSUE OF HOLY GROUND

To understand prayer as looking at God and the things of God requires us to face the fact that we are all blind as bats and struggle to see clearly.

The latest issue of Holy Ground considers how entering into the reality of what is before us leads to deeper seeing and knowing. We turn to poet  John Moffit for some instructions for how to engage in such seeing.

Next we explore Dylan Thomas's "force that through the green fuse drives the flower." How do you discover that force driving you to grow and bloom? How is the energy of life expressing itself in your heart and life activities?

Life possesses us. And it will live through us.
Do not believe for a moment that you can stop it.
Not disasters, terrorists, illness, failure, war,
not even death.

What's up at The Sanctuary  ....

  • Finished up co-leading with Sandy Carlson another great bunch of new pastors for PC (USA) Synod of Mid America GPS program. Their courage, faith, love and imaginations inspire me. As always Eileen Campbell challenged and opened us to see our work in new ways with grace and wisdom.
  • Watched daughter Cicelia graduate in art, Summa Cum Laude from Colorado State University. Here we are with her sister, Diana.
  • Planning a week of silence at St. John's Abbey in Minnesota.
  • Sending out queries to find a good home for the my new book.
  • Seeing the most amazing and beautiful people who share their journeys in God with me.
  • Daily prayer for you and so many.

Thank you so for much for your prayer support, subscription renewals, and donations! Each one makes a difference. You allow Holy Ground to happen in so many ways.

  What is Tracking Holiness?
Looking for support for your faith journey, worship resources, devotional material, or companions for your journey of faith ?   Tracking Holiness is here to remind you of the Love waiting for you in each moment of your existence.

Published by The Sanctuary Foundation for Prayer, this occasional e-newsletter offers links, suppport, prayer, and connection for the scattered followers of Christ.

When our attentiveness invites us "to enter into the small silences" and to "take our time and touch the Peace" from which all life issues, we find ourselves in union with that Peace.

Our sacrificial gift of attention to another awakens the life of God in the other. That life may be dormant, hidden, frightened, or wounded. Our prayerful attention and the Peace in us extends a hand and bids the slumbering Peace in the other to rise up and walk.  lfr
