Chapter member Dianna Berry wanted you to know about a fun opportunity to play in a tournament. Here's what she had to say about it: " I've been working on this tournament all year.  We are looking for golfers, sponsors and volunteers.  This tournament is a blast ... helicopter dimple drop, all Par 3 have hole-in-one prizes, including a luxury car ... caddies ... a nice golf jacket ... games and prizes on other holes; and a plated awards dinner with live auction, silent auction and raffle prizes.  Fantastic items to bid on".

Welcome to the Chapter!
Morton Golf Foundation is Looking for Volunteers for the Special Olympics Regional Golf Competition!
Morton Golf Foundation is the PROUD sponsor of the Special Olympics Regional Golf Competition event on Friday, September 11th and is looking for volunteers from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.   This event is totally made up of Special Olympic athletes from all over Northern California.   They arrive at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex full of enthusiasm and positive attitudes to enjoy a recreational morning outdoors.   Some of them only do golf skills on the academy holes at the back of the driving range and some will play 9-holes of golf on Arcade Creek Golf Course.

They need approximately 30 volunteers to help guide them along their way.   When the volunteers arrive everyone will meet near the #1 Hole of the Arcade Creek Golf Course for the Opening Ceremony.   Special Olympic of Northern California will assign each volunteer with their helpful duties.

If you are available to volunteer on that morning, please contact Jane Siebers at  [email protected] by September 4th.
