As I entered Argos Engineers, Inc., I was quickly drawn to the neatness of the office and the large photographs on the walls. Within moments I was welcomed by Ken Saunders.
Ken and I sat down for a very enjoyable conversation in which he enthusiastically told me about Argos Engineers, a business that serves the chemical, energy, legal/insurance, manufacturing, and oil and gas industries; both private and government agencies. Services range from code and regulatory compliance to advanced analyses such as buckling, creep, fracture, and wear analysis.
Ken went on to explain that the objective at Argos Engineers, Inc. is to provide the best knowledge available appropriate for the current issue and solutions ranging from a quick assessment, allowing you to make an informed decision in a short timeframe, to detailed analyses that provide additional confidence and understanding.

The new website will officially launch on Tuesday, January 19th. It has been designed completely in-house, just as the previous iteration of the website was. The goal with the new site has been to improve the website experience not only by giving it a cleaner, more beautiful design, but also by making information easier to find and consume. Many of the lengthy, burdensome descriptions have been banished so that visitors can get to the information they need without having to hunt for it.
The menu has been reorganized in a logical, structured manner, so pages that were once hidden within links inside other pages are now just one click away.

2016 Employment Notices Posters can now be ordered online. More products will be introduced soon. Check back between now and January 19th to see which other pages have been added prior to launch.

Government Contracting Opportunities for Small Businesses

The Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs and the Los Angeles County Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is hosting an event to connect small businesses with government contracting opportunities. The Business Connections event is being held on January 13, 2016 from 9:00 - 1:00 pm and will be a valuable opportunity for small businesses to connect with representatives from prime contractors as well as federal, state, and local government agencies. Guests will also have the opportunity to attend business workshops on government contracting and other business opportunities.
