A new year is like a blank book, and the pen is in your hand. It is a chance to write a remarkable story for yourself. As 2016 begins, we have no idea what opportunities and challenges the year has in store for us. But as we begin to write the next chapter of our books, remember the library has all kinds of
resources to help you on your journey. Regardless of age, ability or interest, Live Oak really does have something for everyone! Whether you're interested in our collections, computers, classes or programs, the library exists to
educate, inform, entertain and enrich our communities.
As we embark on 2016, I'm very pleased to announce that we will expand our hours in Chatham County.
Beginning January 10th
, the
Bull Street Library will reopen on Saturdays
,
Oglethorpe Mall will reopen on Fridays
and, for the first time,
Southwest Chatham Library will be open on Mondays
. We'll also roll out some great new programs across the system in January and
February. A new library will open in Hinesville in late spring.
Our blank book for 2016 is really starting to take shape and it's very exciting!
Best wishes for a year of inspiring books and to filling your own book with wonderful milestones and achievements!
