TYPOMANIA is coming to the Printery located at the West Main Artists Co-op
at 578 West Main Street on May 30th.
The event is to celebrate the printing industry, its history from beginning in 1450.

There will be activities starting at 10 am. At 2 pm, we will show the movie "Ben and Me" about a mouse
who helped Ben Franklin with his inventions. Ben will be on hand, and everyone can get their picture taken with him.
Food will be available from a food wagon, with hot dogs and cold drinks at reasonable prices.
There will be other events and games for all.

The day will include a tour of the printing facility and all the letterpress equipment we use to produce printed
pieces using traditional methods. Also historical display of our daily newspaper, "The Herald-Journal".
This portion of the program will end at 5 pm, but we will be showing a film titled "Helvetica" at 7 pm.
This film is for all ages, and will show how design is
affected from some of the leading type designers who were involved in designing type faces.

Mark your calendars now for Saturday May 30th,
and plan to have a fun and educational day at The Printery at West Main Artists.
