The Bishop Is Coming! The Bishop Is Coming!
On April 26th The Rt. Rev. Andrew Doyle will come for an Episcopal visit with our church. He is the ninth bishop of the Diocese of Texas. We will have an unusual afternoon service at 5:00 pm. Bishop Doyle will preside at the service which will include Confirmations and Reaffirmations.

After the service there will be a jazz band, and dinner on the grounds. The Bishop will share his vision of the future with us. Please plan to attend this service and stay for the dinner. Help us support the confirmands and visit with Bishop Andy.
Dine Out At An Austin Favorite
This month's Dine Out is at Ross' Old Austin Cafe, 11800 N. Lamar, a true Austin favorite for decades. This Saturday night
at 5:30 pm. For more information call Joe Page at 512-453-3077. Good food and good fellowship.
Lay Readers, Please Note
Please check your e-mail for a message from the Resurrection church office containing the schedule through May for the Lectors and Intercessors.

If you are unable to read as scheduled, please find a substitute, and let the office know. Thank you for your patience and faithfulness.

News from the Atrium

Dear all,

Thank you, Tom Wilson, once again!  The Atrium is looking luminous in the "moonmist" light blue that the kids chose hands down. It was a great choice.  And he did two coats. Things are still in flux in the room, so here's what I propose for this coming Sunday: his Sunday:

- No early Level I session

 - At 9:15 am: meet us in the Narthex (entryway of the church), where we will be coloring gift bags for seniors.  Tina Prikryl, a parishioner and director of Drive a Senior, has asked if the children would decorate white gift bags for their clients.  They are called "May Bags."

- Julie Garza is our parent helper  this Sunday.

And finally, congratulations to little Robert Johnston, baptized last Sunday - Father Billy said he was as good as gold, and seemed to love every minute.

Peace, in Christ,
Kelly

Daughters of the King to Meet
The Daughters of the King will be meeting in Classroom 4 to continue their study of "Jesus The One and Only" to complete their study of weeks 3, 4 and 5. There will be no video review for this meeting. The Daughters invite anyone interested to join them in this study of getting closer to our Lord and Savior.
Easter Vigil

Vitaly helped with the Easter Vigil.
Baptism of Precious Robert

We renewed our Baptismal Vows as we promised to support Robert, Jennifer and Travis  as they bring up Robert in the Faith of Christ. What a wonderful day!

Help Needed With Roses

Our beloved parishioners, Ann and Doug Foxworth have acquired some rose bushes for the yard, at their new home. Could some of you green thumb people help them out by planting them for Ann and Doug? They would be most appreciative. Their contact information is in the church directory, and if you don't have a directory, please contact the church office to reply.
