Hey Everyone!! How was your week?? I completed my 49th marathon last weekend which was also my 23rd state AND got my 3rd fastest time EVER!! Getting old ROCKS!!! I have been super lazy and have NOT done my race report, but promise it will be up by next week :). I kicked ass winning the  Stroke & Stride in Boulder last week too (all the fast people stayed home due to iffy weather). Other than that I am on week 3 of the 21 Day Fix and I have lost almost 4 pounds...YAY!!!

I am grateful for the $20 Del Taco gift card and the $100 Wal Mart gift card I got this week (don't judge me on either of those please ;)!!)

Hope you are doing LOTS of things that you love this week!

Happy Hump Day!

See you next week!!
Kirsten :)

Workout of the Week...Bike

Each week I will feature a swim, bike, run, strength, core, or flexibility workout.

HILL REPEATS!
I love hills. Hill repeats KICK MY ASS but I still love them.

Here is my fave HILL REPEAT workout...

Find a hill 1/2-1 mile long that is moderately steep. I kept this vague since we all live in different areas with a variety of landscapes.

Pick a number of repeats you want to do. I like to start with 3-6 and work up over time to 12-21.

Repeat these 3 as many times as you have time...
1. easiest gear, seated, spinning, easy intensity
2. harder gear, sit as long as you can and then stand to finish, moderate intensity
3. harder gear, standing the entire climb, hard intensity

And then relax and easy downhill

Any questions????
YOUR Perfect Day...

"Our visions are only actionable if we say them out loud. If we keep our dreams to ourselves, they will remain a figment of our imagination." -Simon Sinek

Every night before we go to bed, my husband and I discuss three things.

1. What was our favorite part of our day

2. What was our least fave part

3. What would we change (that we have control over) if we could

We don't just do this to make small talk, we do this because we are in the process of creating our perfect day (week, month, year, life) and this is a baby step to get there.
