The WHS Alumni award is given annually to a WHS staff member who has inspired WHS graduates to make important life, school and career choices.  Nominations are due by Wednesday, May 20th. Awards will be presented at Senior Night Awards on June 3.

3D Design Workshops
12 Years of Age or Older
Tuesdays May 19, June 23, July 21
Wayland Public Library
We have a MakerBot 3D printer and are eager to introduce it to local teens and adults through free workshops over the next two months. On May 19 and July 21, from 7-8:30 p.m. 3D artist Eric Carlsen will guide people through the process of creating their own 3D model using Tinkercad. We will print out the creations on our 3D printer! We will also offer a more advanced Blender workshop on June 23, from 7-8:30 p.m. Workshop attendance needs to be limited, so registration is required. 
WCPA Roller Skating Party

All Ages Welcome
We are taking over Roller Kingdom in Hudson so grab your friends, grab your skates (or rent them there) and join the WCPA for a great evening of fun with friends and family.  All ages are welcome. Sponsored by the WCPA Big Kids. Cost is only $5 per person or $20 maximum.  
Summer Community Service Program
Grades: Entering 9th to Graduating Seniors
June 30 to August 11
The high school summer community service program kicks off on June 30. Past projects have included soup kitchens, food pantries, food drives, Cradles to Crayons, organic farms and gardens, and more. Students may bring their own ideas as well. Join up and bring your friends! The program fee is $75.00. Participate in the Wayland-Weston Rotary Club Inaugural Pooch Parade & Festival, with pooch demonstrations and contests, and much more. Festival ticket sales benefit Buddy Dog, Operation Delta Dog, and Animal Rescue League of Boston.

Champion Soccer School - Wayland

Wayland alum and current WHS assistant boys varsity soccer coach, Charles Goodhue, co-founded this home-grown camp back in 2003, featuring former all-stars, captains, and 2014 state champs from WHS soccer as camp coaches, Champion brings quality camps for boys and girls entering grades K-12 to your own backyard.

Wayland resident and University of North Carolina Alum, Nancy Slocum, has directed this popular day camp for girls, featuring a predominately female staff, for the past 17 years. Slocum also runs a 9-week summer soccer skills and conditioning program for high school aged girls: Slocum High School Prep.
