Exhibitor Newsletter - June 2015

This is the second quarterly newsletter of 2015. We will also publish newsletters in September and December. Planning for ITC2015 is well underway. We look forward to seeing you when we return to the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim California, October 6 - 8. This venue has excellent amenities to support all of our business and conference needs, customer hospitality and recreation.

Our online conference registration system will open next week. We will send out an announcement with registration links on Tuesday, June 30.

Exhibition

Many booth spaces for ITC2015 were sold directly on the exhibits floor at ITC2014 in Seattle. We still have limited booth spaces available for this year's ITC. Please contact Courtesy Associates if you would like more information. Click here to see a list of exhibitors signed up for ITC 2015; there are 47 so far.

There are still supporter opportunities available for ITC2015. Click here for more information on how to become a supporter

Here is the exhibit floor map for ITC2015.

Admission to the exhibits floor is free of charge during all open Exhibit Hall hours. As Anaheim is less than 2 hours from San Diego, and less than 1 hour from most of Los Angeles, we expect a good draw of visitors from the rich set of semiconductor and related technology companies in Southern California.

Reminder to Exhibitors and Supporters

ITC will release the conference advance program, and open the online registration system in July. These actions dramatically increase visitor traffic to ITCs website. We suggest that each exhibitor and supporter review the exhibitor area of our website and let us know if there are any errors or changes needed to the description of your company, logo, link or any other important information.

Also, please review the Exhibitor Manual on the website. The Exhibitor Manual includes exhibition floor regulations, email blast application instructions, Corporate Forum guidelines, marketing and supportership opportunities and much more.

Program Update

Once again we will offer a compelling selection of technical topics presented by the world's leading researcher in test, and an impressive list of distinguished speakers from industry and academia. We will make focused program announcements prior to release of the ITC advance program in July. Stay tuned.

Poster Session

The Call for Posters is open; please visit the ITC Website for submission details.

The high rate of participation (over 40 posters) in recent years has limited the number of posters our attendees could view within the two-hour window of this event, which coincides with lunch. This is even more challenging for anyone who engages in discussions with the poster presenters.

This year we will schedule posters on Wednesday and Thursday, with approximately 50% displayed on each day.

Last year was the first time we offered a prize for best poster. For ITC2015, we will have best poster winners on Wednesday and Thursday.

The poster session will be held on the exhibits floor as we have done in recent years. This helps draw more people to exhibitor booths.

Corporate Forum

This series of presentations will be held on the exhibits floor, with time slots arranged for maximum attendance. Contact Ken Mandl if you would like to participate in the Corporate Forum. We will start accepting Corporate Forum reservations on June 30.

Exhibitor Email Blast Service

Our popular email blast service helps  exhibitors and supporters promote their products and activity at ITC. These emails will be scheduled over 4 business weeks prior to ITC, starting Tuesday September 8 (the day after Labor Day), through Friday October 2.  The mailing list will include all people pre-registered for ITC2015, and all people who were registered for ITC2014. We exclude people who have opted-out of receiving these emails. A small fee is charged for this service, fee is waived for ITC supporters.

We will start accepting Email blast reservations from supporters on July 20, and from exhibitors on August 3. These emails are limited to only 1 per business day, maximum number to be sent is 19.

Contact Mike Purtell if you would like to use this service.

Hotel Information
ITC attendees will receive discount rates at the Disneyland Hotel, and enjoy the convenience of staying in the same location as the ITC conference, exhibition, and many fringe activities.

The discounted price for ITC attendees at the Disneyland Hotel is a very modest $179 per night. This rate is available from Thursday October 1 (the week before ITC) until Tuesday October 13 (the week after ITC). Take advantage of this price, and enjoy the Disneyland resort for a few days before or after the conference.

With Disneyland located within a few hours by car from anywhere in Southern California, and within 6 hours from Phoenix or Silicon Valley, many ITC attendees from the Southwest region can take advantage of these rates to add a mini-vacation to their visit to ITC.

Click here to reserve your room at the Disneyland Hotel.

Disneyland Information
ITC has been held at the Disneyland Hotel 3 times. Many remember one of the best welcome receptions in the history of ITC at the World of Color show, only a few months after it was first opened. This was a private show for ITC attendees and exhibitors, many were surprised to see supporter logos displayed on water canon streams and mist.

This year is the 60th anniversary of Disneyland, which is Disney's original theme park.

ITC2014 Exhibits Floor will be open October 6 - 8. The October climate in Southern California is simply magnificent, so if you have any time to enjoy the outdoors you can take your pick of beaches, golf courses, mountains and even seeing movie stars and their homes.

Baseball will be on the minds of many attendees, with the baseball playoffs in full swing. The Dodgers or the Angels (or both) could play in the post-season. It is hard to believe that there are no NFL teams in Orange County or Los Angeles, but you won't miss any of the action if you stop by the ESPN zone in Downtown Disney, a short walk from the Disneyland Hotel.
