EHSS Youth: Hard at Work this Summer!
Enterprise for High School Students has a busy summer with almost 130 youth working in our Summer Programs! We have 14 Junior Caddies with a few more weeks at the Olympic Club, 24 gardeners beautifying 3 parks in San Francisco, 51 interns exploring different careers at 39 sites all around the city, and 38 sales interns at local Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic stores.
In addition to the youth who are working, we've had Job Shadows and Tours at Kaiser and Gap Inc., with more planned for the rest of the summer. We are so proud of our youth who have really developed into professional and successful young people. We're looking forward to a great rest of the summer and then sailing into the fall!

One of the esteemed Los Tres Grandes Mexican muralists, José Clemente Orozco (1881 - 1949) is best known for monumental fresco cycles that present dramatic, epic narratives. Yet throughout his life, Orozco was also an avid draftsman who had a masterful understanding of the musculature and the inherent expressiveness of the human body. This exhibition includes more than twenty figure studies generously loaned by the Michael Wornick Collection. Many of them have never been exhibited before.

Featuring artifacts drawn from our archives as well as their privately-held collections, ESTABLISHED IN SAN FRANCISCO tells the parallel yet unique stories of four pioneers of their industry that are still in business, serving miners then and millennials today: Levi Strauss & Company, Tadich Grill, Anchor Brewing, and Shreve & Company.
