Jackson Galaxy, well-known cat behaviorist, rescue advocate, and host of Animal Planet's hit show
My Cat From Hell, is on board with the Million Cat Challenge, which aims to save the lives of 1 million cats in the next 5 years.
He recently gave a shout-out to All About Animals and Macomb County Animal Control, who are collaborating in a "return to field" (RTF) program, which involves sterilizing healthy cats who are thriving in their outdoor homes, then returning them to their original location.
"The cats most shelters turn away are the ones Lucky Day welcomes with open arms."
Wouldn't it be fun to meet Jackson in person? On November 7, he will be visiting Grand Blanc as guest speaker at a fundraiser for Michigan Certified Rescue group Lucky Day Animal Rescue.
