Computer Tip of the Month
|
I always enjoy this time of the year. We are always busy and it is a good time to see family that I don't get to see all year. I would like to take this time to thank all of our clients for their business and support. We work hard to make every single customer happy with our products and service. We hope you have a blessed and happy holiday season.
I slowed down and read a quote over lunch last week and thought this very closely matched my idea of what is important for our business. It thought I would share with you:
A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.
- Mahatma Gandhi
Our business is here to help you with technology problems and needs that you have. We thank you for the opportunity to serve and look forward to working with you in the coming months and years.
Thanks again,

Microsoft Ending Support for Windows XP and Office 2003
Microsoft's Support for Windows XP and Office 2003 will end on April 8, 2014.
What this means for you is that there will no longer be Windows Updates and any new software you purchase may not be compatible. In the real world what this means is that your computer will not stop working overnight but since you will no longer be getting updates your computer becomes more vulnerable over time. Eventually your computer will have issues with getting infected with viruses and Trojans and it will continue to get worse. When possible we recommend getting a new computer with Windows 8.1 so that you do not needlessly pay for support on a computer that you are not going to keep for much longer. Many people want to upgrade to Windows 8.1 to save on cost. Unfortunately older XP computers do not have the requirements for Windows 8.1 so the only thing you can do is purchase a new computer. Please contact our office, Conor (205) 985-9942 ext. 122, if you would like to get a quote on a new computer.
