Social Justice Art Festival
The goal of the Social Justice Art Festival is to examine the role of art in advancing social justice issues as well as to invite participants (both artists and attendees) to reflect on the question "What makes a socially just community or neighborhood?" We want to engender an open dialogue that encourages people to think critically about our world on both local and global issues which impact us all.

LGBTQ and Incarceration Meeting
This meeting will focus on the LGBTQ community's relationship with the Prison Industrial Complex System in the United States. Through different dialogues and activities we will look at the ways that trans individuals face conflict in jails and prisons, as well as analyze data collected regarding inclusivity towards the LGBTQ community within Michigan jails and prisons.

Take Back the Night March and Rally
Take a stand against sexual violence and empower survivors! Singing, tap dancing, and speakers will be featured.
When: April 2 with doors opening at 6:30 pm and rally at 7 pm. The march will follow immediately.

Diversity Monologues
For the final Diversity Monologues, we will be challenging the "victor" narrative to continue to push Michigan above and beyond its potential for greatness. For our final event, Diversity Monologues: Words from "Victors", prepare a song, spoken word piece, monologue, diary entry, or anything that you feel expresses your feelings and experiences. To speak, email us to submit your piece for approval.

Raise the Wage Campaign
The Raise the Wage Campaign needs to gather 350,000 signatures throughout the state of Michigan to put the minimum wage issue on the ballot this November. If the ballot initiative is supported, it would raise the minimum wage from $7.40/hr to $10.10/hr which is
