The 18th District CAPS Office issued an alert n alert Sunday morning warning residents that two different robberies that have occurred in our area may be connected.
The robberies reportedly took place on the 600 block of W. Kemper Place on November 18 at 11:30 P.M., and the 2100 Block of N. Lincoln Park West on December 10 at 11:00 P.M. The offenders are described as 2-3 Hispanic males, aged 24-26, and may be driving a blue or silver four door Chrysler.
For your safety, police advise that you take inventory of your surroundings, report suspicious activity immediately, and if video surveillance is available, save and make a copy of the incident for investigating detectives. If you are the victim of a crime, do not touch anything and call 911 immediately. If approached by a witness to the incident, request their contact information.
