Miami High School Juniors and Seniors will be invited to participate in the program which mirrors the current Leadership Miami program. Students will meet on the six early-release days during the school year, and learn about manufacturing, healthcare, Native American Tribes, agribusiness, local government, tourism, and the environment.
Will you help? We need sponsors and volunteers.
Sponsors - It will cost approximately $2,400 to cover the costs of Youth Leadership Miami. This will include: Orientation/Team Building exercises, transportation, lunches, class shirts, and a $500 scholarship to the outstanding Youth Leadership participant.
Volunteers - Volunteers are needed to organize and facilitate each of the classes. This will require planning the activities and businesses they will visit, and accompanying the class that day.
