Please join us on Sunday, April 19th from 1-4pm at The Spa Little Theater for
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie,
written by Jay Presson Allen, based on a book by Murial Sparks. This
fascinating story of a Scottish school teacher illuminates in a chilling way how young minds can be manipulated by charismatic adults, and shows us just how young, impressionable girls can be encouraged to engage in immoral, criminal and even totally irrational behavior. If you want to read a beautifully written play which perhaps helps us understand how the young who volunteer to go to the Middle East might be influenced to do so, this play might give you some "insight." Funny at times, shocking, and intensely emotional.
There are 12 major roles and 14 "extras" so there are lots of parts for all who want to read this play about a very unconventional "teacher." Snacks and drinks will be provided.
