Reinhardt University students, faculty and staff are inviting alumni, parents and friends to take part in an exciting week of Homecoming activities. The majority of the community-focused events are Friday through Sunday, October 23 to 25, 2015; they include an event honoring local community leader and Reinhardt alumna JoEllen Wilson, a talent show, a football game complete with fan activities, tailgating and reunions and a free concert.

Preserve the Hickory Log Artifacts Collection and Provide for its Exhibition 

The Funk Heritage Center, on Reinhardt's campus in Waleska, Ga., has received a challenge grant from a foundation that will match all donations to the Center, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000 for the purpose of exhibiting artifacts excavated at the Hickory Log site in Cherokee County. Donations must be received by Nov. 1, 2015. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Barbara Starr at 770-720-5967 or visit the Funk Heritage Center website for more information.

 
Now Serving Starbucks! 

Reinhardt's canine resident Bentley wants coffee! What about you? Five students will receive a free cup of coffee from Reinhardt's own Starbucks location simply by liking our Instagram page https://instagram.com/reinhardt_univ/ and then commenting on this photo there. The five lucky winners names will be drawn at noon on Wed., Oct. 21!

Starbucks you ask? Yes, starting Monday, Oct. 19, the Simply-to-Go food service area in the bottom floor of the Library will now offer made-to-your-liking Starbucks coffee! The initial hours for the Starbucks counter will be Mon.- Thurs. 8-11 a.m. and Fri. 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
