  Colombia Huila RFA Espresso

Even though this coffee is listed as an espresso, we highly recommend it to be used with any prep method.   The Colombia Huila is a Rainforest Alliance coffee and is one of a few single origin espressos that we offer.
It is especially good as a drip coffee.

From south-west Colombia this coffee is bright tasting with a medium body.  Huila is a very fertile area of Colombia where the coffee is grown at an altitude of 1,800m
above sea level. Unusual for a Colombian coffee, the Huila has a very low acidity and is surprisingly smooth. Overtones of orange and
lemon with a hint of a floral finish at the end of the cup.

Happy Thursday!

Earlier this week we received a new shipment of coffee.  It will take us a couple of weeks to unpack it all.  As the coffee is unloaded, we will post some old favorites as well as some new offerings.  Watch your email for these announcements.

CORRECTION:
Speaking of announcements, the Western Wake Farmers' Market announced the opening of a second market at the UNC Wellness Center beginning on May 2nd, NOT THE REX WELLNESS CENTER.  Muddy Dog Roasting Company is proud to announce that we will be set up at both the Carpenter Village and The UNC Wellness sights.  Sorry for the confusion.  Check out the market's new website.

We would like to congratulate the daughter of one of our customers on her upcoming Bat Mitzvah.  As part of her Mitzvah project, Margalit will be holding a bake sale which will take place on Sunday April 19th from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM on the plaza in front of Beth Meyer Synagogue, 504 Newton Road in North Raleigh.  They will feature delicious treats made by Margalit and her mother, both of whom are award-winning home cooks. Teenage girls from Beth Meyer and Beth Or congregations will also be contributing baked goods and helping staff the sale. Pastry chef Helen Pfann of Night Kitchen Bakehouse and CafĂ©, Raleigh, and the coffee roasters at Muddy Dog Roasting Company in Morrisville will also be donating their specialties to the sale.  The proceeds will go to support Women of the Wall (WOW).   Please consider joining us at the bake sale and supporting this worthy cause.  Mazel Tov to Margalit Mermelstein and her family!

Have a great weekend,

Jim and Debbie
