Sixth Year of FCC Ag Safety Fund Now Accepting Applications
The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) in partnership with Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is proud to announce a call for applications to the 2016 - 2017 FCC Ag Safety Fund.
The Fund, now in its sixth year, helps charitable and non-profit groups deliver agricultural safety training across Canada in a community setting. The fund is made possible by FCC, a long-time supporter of CASA and farm safety initiatives.
"Today's farm operations are larger and more complex than ever and so are the potential hazards," says Sophie Perreault, FCC executive vice-president and chief operating officer. "Canadian farmers practice safety on a daily basis. That's why we support CASA's efforts to keep safety a priority and reduce the number of accidents and close calls."
