As you all know, Grace Fellowship does not advocate for particular candidates for public office or political parties. We believe it is not our place as a church to instruct you to vote for any particular candidate for public office.  But we do feel we should promote and warn about issues that directly affect Biblical issues, or us as a local church or believers.  Today we are asking each of you as members of Grace Fellowship to consider contacting Senator Richard Shelby, Senator Jeff Sessions, and Representative Mike Rogers in regard to The First Amendment Defense Act (S. 1598 and H.R. 2802). This legislation seeks to defend the First Amendment rights of all U.S. citizens. In particular the bills are designed to protect religious organizations from being punished for refusing to participate in so called same sex marriages.  I hope that each of you will take the time to contact your representation in Washington D.C. on this important matter.
