We are going to have so much fun today! We started class with our usual stretches and warm up activities. We did stretching in different positions such as pike, butterfly, tuck and straddle. After stretching, we stood up and did various calisthenic movements to get our heart rate up. We jumped, bounced, marched, skipped and worked on isolating different parts of our bodies.

After that we danced across the floor. We did steps that we have been working on such as bouree walks, chasses, passes,leaps and bunny hops. We are also working on walking backwards and skipping. Our leaps and jumps are looking better with every class!

After going across the floor, we put our imagination hats on and pretended to be dragons! We went on a dragon hunt! We climbed over trees, stomped through a swamp and went on a fabulous adventure to find a DRAGON at the end!!

After going across the floor we worked on our end of year dances! Each class has finished their dance and so now we are working on making it performance ready as well as perfecting our leaps, skips and other dance technique movements.

Lastly we finished class by doing freeze dancing!

Today was a wonderful class!
