Jewish Community Festival

 

A Jewish Community Festival will be held on Thursday, July 2, beginning at 5:00 PM, at Kinder Farm Park (Black Oak Pavillion), located at 1001 Kinder Farm Park Road; Millersville, MD.

Honey Gifts for High Holidays

Kol Shalom Ark

Candle lighting time for Friday, June 26, is 8:17 PM.

 

Shabbat services are held on Friday evenings beginning at 7:30 PM and on Saturday mornings beginning at 9:30 AM.

 

Our Monday evening 7:00 PM service will continue on June 29.  Please help us be sure to have a minyan. 

 

Our Thursday morning 8:30 AM service will continue on July 2.  Please help us be sure to have a minyan.


Our Family Service for July will be held on Friday, July 24.  July birthdays and wedding anniversaries will be observed this evening and also on Saturday, July 25. 

 

Tisha B'Av:  Our annual observance of Tisha B'Av will 

will begin with a service on Saturday, July 25, at 9:15 PM. This service will include the reading of the biblical book Eicha-Lamentations.  We will also hold a service on Sunday, July 26, at 9:00 AM.

Please note that Talmud Study will be NOT held on Monday, June 29.  Our next session is scheduled for Monday, August 24 at 9:30 AM. 

 

At our next Torah Study, scheduled for Thursday, July 2, at 9:30 AM, we will review Parashat Balak (annual reading, Numbers 22:2 - 25:9; triennial reading, Numbers 22:39 - 23:26).
 
Women's League of Kol Shalom

Membership for 2015-2016: We hope you will support the work of our Women's League group by becoming a member or renewing your membership.  Dues are $36 a year. Membership forms can be accessed by clicking here.  Checks can be written to Women's League of Kol Shalom and sent to the synagogue office (see address below).  Please note "WL Dues" on the envelope. 

 

Oneg/Kiddush:  For a contribution of $10 to Women's League of Kol Shalom, a special event such as a birthday, anniversary, or yahrtzeit will be acknowledged at Shabbat services prior to the date.  The Oneg/Kiddush form can be accessed by clicking here and can be returned along with a check payable to Women's League of Kol Shalom to the synagogue office. Please note "Oneg'Kiddush" sponsor on the envelope.
