Spring Branch Bowling Club has new leagues about to start!

Our leagues are short (11 weeks max), so there's no long-term commitment!

We have leagues starting on Tuesday nights (started now) or Thursday nights (starting TOMORROW July 9th). Leagues are mixed and minimum age is 17

 years old.

Come and join the fun!!  You can bring your own team or sign up to be placed on a team.

Movie Under the Stars at the LBJ Ranch summer series continues with a John Wayne classic, "The Sons of Katie Elder" at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic at 1048 Park Road 49, Stonewall, TX on

THIS Saturday, July 11, 2015.

For this year's final installment of "Movies Under the Stars" the park will screen The Sons of Katie Elder, Ranch owner Katie Elder's four sons determine to avenge the murder of their father and the swindling of their mother.

The movie is broadcast on a huge outdoor screen with big sound. Bring your favorite food and beverage, lawn chairs and blankets.  The movie is shown adjacent to the Texas White House. Ranch gates open at 7:00 PM.

Forbidden Broadway

a musical by Gerard Alessandrini, beginning July 16 through August 2.

Opening night is a benefit performance for Bulverde Area Humane Society.  All seats are $18 for the July16 performance and no season tickets will be accepted.  A reception follows immediately after the performance for an opportunity to meet the director and cast.

Ticket prices for all remaining shows are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors 62+/military and $10 for students.  An optional dinner is served at 6:30 P.M. before the 8 P.M. curtain on

 Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  The Sunday matinees on July 26 and August 2 are at 4 p.m., dessert only.

In this Tony award winning musical revue; Broadway's greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this hilarious, loving, and endlessly entertaining tribute to some of the theatre's greatest stars and songwriters.

ST. JUDE'S BACK PACK PROGRAM FOR 2015

Items and funds are being collected for the St. Jude's Back Pack Program.

You may deliver to the Chamber Office, bring to Chamber events or call Diane Roberts at (830) 980-5666 or (210) 213-4319 and she would be more then happy to come collect it. Items needed are all school supplies that would be for ages K-12. Any and all new items accepted.

If your business has coin purses, pencils, pens, cosmetics mirrors, pencil sacks, graph paper, spiral notebooks, crayons, markers, red pencils (we never can find enough) and lots of notebook paper.  All are appreciated and go to a

 child in St. Jude's Ranch for Children Home.

It is our goal to fill 40 back packs again this year as that is what the Ranch houses. It is always a good way to start the New Year off right with new items for each student.

Bless the Ranch for doing such a fabulous job with these kiddos.  I can't even imagine trying to shop for 40 students to prepare them for a new school year.
