The City of Rock Hill and the Arts Council of York County are partnering to celebrate the first state-designated Cultural District in SC - Downtown Rock Hill.

Thursday, March 26, 2015 | 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Join us for this exciting event where Mayor Doug Echols and Ken May, Executive Director of the South Carolina Arts Commission are going to make the official announcement, naming Downtown Rock Hill as a Cultural District. In addition, the 2015 Old Town Amphitheater Summer Concert Series line up will be revealed, and there will be announcements regarding events at Fountain Park, information about the Community Performance Center's programming, and more.

The public is invited to join us at 11:30 AM for part or all of the tour. Led by Mayor Echols, the event is a mini-crawl including eleven stops beginning at Provisions at the Old Town Market Hall, 121 Caldwell St., at 11:30 AM and concludes at the Center for the Arts, 121 E. Main St., at 12:30 PM, with stops at many of Old Town's cultural destinations along the way.
