THANK YOU!
March for Meals a Huge Success!

On March 26, elected officials and community leaders came together to help fight senior hunger. As part of the national March for Meals campaign, Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County hosted Champions Luncheon at the Fort Worth Club. Tarrant County Commissioner Andy Nguyen spoke to a room full of local and state representatives to educate them about senior hunger within our community. Commissioner Nguyen shared his personal story of hunger while he and his family, along with dozens of other refugees, were adrift at sea after the fall of Saigon.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and want to thank Atmos Energy and Oncor Electric for their sponsorship. Without their support, this event would not have been possible. You can watch Commissioner Nguyen's speech by clicking on the video icon above.

Meals On Wheels Pass the Plate Day is Sunday, May 17th.

This May marks the 42nd Anniversary of Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County and we are celebrating by asking our friends in the faith-based community to participate in Pass the Plate 2015 by taking up a special offering for the Meals On Wheels Home-Delivered Meals program on or around May 17th.

We need your help! If you are a member of a local church or synagogue, please help us spread the word about this special event by contacting your minister, priest, or rabbi and asking them to allow your congregation to join others in this fight against senior hunger.
