This year's application for the USDA Distance Learning & Telemedicine Grant Program was released today!

From USDA Rural Development:

"The Notice of Solicitation of Applications (NOSA) for the Distance Learning and Telemedicine (DLT) Grant Program was published this morning in the Federal Register, opening the FY2015 grant window. This year it is only a 45-day window,  so the program will close on July 6, 2015. All applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by that date. The full text of the NOSA can be found here

Additional information, including the FY15 Application Guide, can be found on our website at http://www.rd.usda.gov/programs-services/distance-learning-telemedicine-grants. Be sure to click on the "Forms and Resources" tab near the top of the page to see the Application guide.

In support of the opening of the grant window, we [USDA] will be hosting two webinars on June 4 and 10 from 1-3pm EST to answer questions. The flier for the webinar can be located here for more information. There is limited space in each webinar, so attendees must preregister with the Loan Origination Division to ensure a spot. To preregister, please contact Deborah Herndon or Gayle Buckner at (202) 720-0800 or email: [email protected] and [email protected]. Spots will be reserved in the order in which requests are received.

For any questions on the DLT program, please email [email protected]."

The DLT Grant Program is an excellent funding opportunity to support the acquisition of telemedicine equipment (salaries and administrative expenses not eligible). Please note the application window is only 45 days this year!

If you are interested in applying, our NETRC team would be happy to schedule a call to discuss strategy and how you may be able to develop the most competitive application.

For questions or to schedule a call, please contact Andrew Solomon at [email protected].

Sincerely,

The NETRC Team.
