Outreach
NEW Thank You from Our Daily Bread

Many thanks to all of the dedicated volunteers who contributed to deliveries to Our Daily Bread clients on Sunday, March 8. We couldn't have done it without each and every person who shopped, donated groceries, helped us pack and organize, made phone calls, helped load cars, and delivered to families. A list of our wonderful volunteers can be found HERE. We delivered almost 1,500 pounds of groceries and household items, including bread, fresh produce, toiletries, and household items, to 29 families in Fairfax County, and donated grocery gift cards to 30 families. Thanks also to Great Harvest Bread of Vienna for donating fresh bread for the deliveries.  If you would like to become involved in our parish's Our Daily Bread ministry or would like further information about it, please contact Susan McGuire or Chris Ostendorff. Our next deliveries will be in November 2015.

Everyone who has already registered for VBS will be contacted and asked to give their preference for either the morning or afternoon session. Questions? Please contact Lisa Arthur.

Volunteers make Coffee Hour possible. Individuals, families, and groups are encouraged to email Chris Doyle or call 703-255-6135 for more information.

Message from the CHC Endowment Board

You wouldn't want to borrow someone else's will, but that's what a state-written will is like if you don't write your own. Plan your own will, and remember Holy Comforter's Endowment Fund when you do. Your will makes certain that your will will be done!
