Lone Survivor

Due to its nature, this showing will be for adults only.  Lone Survivor is based on the book by Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, the only survivor of a counter-insurgent mission to capture Taliban leader Ahmad Shah.

Fregoe District 4 Town Hall Meeting

The focus will be on District 4, but ALL Grand Prairie residents are welcome. The new boundaries of all Grand Prairie City Council districts will be presented.  Police Chief Steve Dye and Fire Chief Robert Fite, or their representatives will speak, along with a representative from the 360 South project.  In addition, there will be updates on city transportation projects, new development and the new Epic project.

Grand Prairie's history book, History of Grand Prairie--Pre 1840s-2009, is a great holiday present!  Get your copy for $27 at the Tourist Information Center gift shop, 2170 N. Belt Line Rd.  Cash, credit or checks accepted.  The Tourist Center is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.  History books are also available at City Hall, 317 College St., check payments only.  City Hall is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
