Movie Presentation: Lone Survivor Saturday, Nov. 7, 2 p.m. Warmack Library, 760 Bardin Rd. Due to its nature, this showing will be for adults only. Lone Survivor is based on the book by Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, the only survivor of a counter-insurgent mission to capture Taliban leader Ahmad Shah.
China's Role in World War II Wednesday, Nov. 11, noon Main Library, 901 Conover Dr. Dr. Harold Tanner, professor of Chinese History at the University of North Texas, will speak. Enjoy an exhibit of World War II Pacific Theater photographs in the library, featuring a tribute to war heroes of the Pacific Alliance of China and the United States.

In addition, there will be updates on city transportation projects, new development and the new Epic project.
