OCAA Students/ Parents Orientation
Sunday Jan. 11@ 2pm

To our Orange County Aerial Arts Apprentices:  Please mark your calendar for Jan. 11 @ 2pm for our yearly meeting @ ADT.  Agenda shall include our 2015 calendar of events, the apprentice guidelines, and changes in our billing cycle and system.

What is the Apprenticeship Program?

The program is geared towards pre-professional and recreational training in Performing Arts or competition based Aerial Acrobatics.  The apprentice learns on-stage performance techniques, including choreographic routines, group / team routines as well as Back-Stage, Pre/Post production activities including costume & make-up, props, rehearsal time management and teamwork.  Each applicant will be assessed and placed based on their skills and background. Apprentice can choose to be part of its yearly full-length production, and outreach demonstrations including the TRI-ART Festival, Dancescape, West Coast Aerial Art Festival, Orange County Great Parks and the OC Fairgrounds.  They can also choose not to take part in any production and still enjoy the benefits offered including coaching sessions and being in a warm and supportive family work-out environment.
Class Schedule & Pricing
This coming January 2015, we will be changing our class schedule and reforming our rates to better serve your needs.  Please intermittently check our website for announcements.

For apprentices, all contracts will start on the 1st of each month.  New guidelines will be announced shortly.  If you have contracts that terminate any day in January, we will pro-rate and refund prior to starting your contract.
Do you have what it takes to be an instructor?

Ruby Karen Project is now seeking experienced instructors to handle 2 or more classes a week.  Training and residency is required to complete their IATTP certification prior to teaching.  Email us for more details.
