Natalie Bahnmiller began working in child protection in July of 1995 for the Child and Family Services Division (CFSD) in Chouteau and Liberty counties. During her employment with CFSD she attended Walla Walla University and earned a Master's Degree in Social Work in 2002. During her 13 years with CFSD, Natalie served for three years as a Famly Resource Specialist, licensing foster and adoptive families in the outlying areas of Region II (North Central Region). In November of 2008, Natalie was hired by the University of Montana School of Social Work as the Staff Development Specialist in Region II. The areas of practice that hold special interest for Natalie are family centered practice, family group decision making, working in rural communities and working with resource families.
Marci Buckles began working as a Child Protection Specialist in Helena in 2002. Marci also worked as a Home Visitor with the Lewis and Clark County Health Department before becoming a Staff Development Specialist with The University of Montana in 2009. The area of practice that holds a special interest for Marci is Child Sexual Abuse. She is a founding member of the Lewis and Clark County multidisciplinary team that responds to child victims of crime and abuse. Marci has been a forensic interviewer since 2003 and has conducted hundreds of child forensic interviews. She remains an active member at the Lewis and Clark County Children's Advocacy Center. Marci earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Carroll College in 1998.
