IN THIS ISSUE...
Watsonville Taiko is grateful for the ongoing community support including
funding from the Arts Council Santa Cruz

What a great day at the 29th annual Japanese Cultural Fair!  Our youngest drummers were spot on, and we had a huge group of over two dozen adults playing Zuii together.  Talk about inter-generational.  The drummers in our front row spanned more than 50 years, from 18 to 70 plus! After the drumming came the cooking. 168 yakitori place, 70 curry bowls and nearly 400 servings of fried mochi! Funds raised go into our general fund and will help us pay some of the expenses for next year's 25th Anniversary show.

Summer is a wonderful time to join Watsonville Taiko as we celebrate great events, support good causes and explore different cultures around the area. We hope you can join us.  There is something for everyone!
