HART WEEKLY eBLAST  | MAY 22, 2015

RAIL CAR PRODUCTION IN FULL SWING

HART's first rail car shell is in full production at an Ansaldo Breda manufacturing facility in Reggio Calabria, Italy.

This photo, taken earlier this week, shows the Honolulu rail vehicle in its final stage of the assembly process where all the dimensions are being checked and verified just prior to the car being painted and having its floor installed.

Once that process is complete the car shell will be shipped to Pittsburg, California for final assembly and initial testing.

And in the early part of next year, the first car will be delivered to the Rail Operations Center in Waipahu for further testing before it is put into service in 2018
