WHAT: The
Arlington Chamber of Commerce,
with supporting partner
Rosslyn Business Improvement District
, will be holding a business-themed candidate forum which will feature a moderated discussion of topics important to the Arlington business community and provide each candidate with the opportunity to engage with local business leaders and address the key issues for the business community. Scott Thuman, Emmy-award winning, Senior Political Reporter covering the White House and Capitol Hill for ABC7 News and News Channel 8, will be moderating.
WHY: This year's general election, in which two County Board seats are without an incumbent running, marks a historic point for Arlington.
This event will offer attendees the chance to gain an inside look into the candidates' views on business in Arlington County. The candidates confirmed for the Forum are:
