Volunteer at the Annual Learn & Earn Spirit Day

Join LLF during its Spirit Day celebration at Citrus Grove Middle School (CGMS) on April 10th. Spirit Day is held to conclude the Learn & Earn tutoring program each year prior to the beginning of state standardized testing.

Over 1,000 students will enjoy live music, interactive games, and testing etiquette training in preparation for state standardized testing. Even DJ Daz and Billy the Marlin from the Miami Marlins will be in attendance! Volunteers will assist in passing out t-shirts, awarding giveaways, and keeping the energy up!

Share Your Professional Story at Step Up

LLF's partnership with the City of Miami Beach Introduces Suspended Students to Professional Success Stories

Did you ever get in trouble at school? Could you have used a mentor in these troublesome times? Step Up introduces suspended students to successful personalities in our community, who share their story to inspire the students to improve future decision making. Step Up occurs at least once a month and is scheduled based on the presenters availability. Email volunteer@thelittlelighthouse.org to become a Step Up presenter.
