AFIA welcomes re-introduction of Food Labeling Act
recently Joel G. Newman, the President and CEO of the American Feed Industry Association made an official statement regarding the re-introduction of the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act.
80 percent of livestock producing regions face high mycotoxin threats
Mycotoxin-related threats to livestock production are severe or high in 80 percent of regions worldwide according to the latest BIOMIN mycotoxin survey. Those areas registered three or more major mycotoxins at concentration levels known to cause harm in animals. The survey results provide insights on the incidence of the six major mycotoxins in the agricultural commodities used for livestock feed.
The organisers of the three innovation awards to be carried out during the Victam-FIAAP-GRAPAS Expo in June in Köln, Germany, have agreed this morning - April 1, 2015 - to extend the deadline for entries by one month to May 1, 2015.
