Designing the Outdoor Kitchen
 
Presented by Karen Moyer in association with Designs by Sundown.  This presentation has been designed to educate architects, designers, contractors and installers about luxury outdoor kitchens and options for design and layout, for product specification, installation and proper use. By understanding these topics, building professionals will be in a better position to serve their clients and help create upscale outdoor spaces that greatly enhance a home's functionality, enjoyment and value.  Enjoy grilled appetizers on the Wolf outdoor grill and craft beer from a local brewery.

Home of the Year winners reflect the best building, architecture and interior design in Colorado. We invite both homeowners and design professionals to submit completed, privately-owned, previously-unpublished homes to this annual competition for publication in the June/July 2015 issue of Colorado Homes and Lifestyles.

Job Opening - Bell Home Solutions Seeks a Kitchen and Bath Designer

Bell Home Solutions is seeking a qualified, experienced, tech savvy kitchen designer with proven kitchen and bath design skills, and mad 20-20 or CAD abilities. The most qualified candidate will also possess an out-of-this-world work ethic and strong organizational habits, proving they can keep up with the needs of 5 outside Remodel Consultants. A background with plumbing fixtures and electrical/lighting is also critical as product sales is a significant part of the position as well.

There will be additional opportunities, such as having input on keeping our 8,500 square foot showroom ahead of  the latest trends. Candidates with a college degree in interior design, architecture or a designation from NKBA will be given higher consideration, but must be in combination with industry experience.

NKBA University Course Residential Green for Kitchens and Bath- April 7

Residential Green for Kitchens & Baths through NKBA University provides an informative view of green technologies and products for today's practicing designer. The participants in this class will learn to evaluate products effectively by applying a wide range of criteria that covers both environmental impact and occupant health. It will also cover green certifications, sustainable organizations and the relevance of green design in the current market.
