PTA
Our final PTA meeting of the school year has been moved to right after drop-off (9:05 am) on Thursday, May 7 in the lunchroom. We will review this year's budget and needs for next year. If you are curious about what the PTA does or how you could be involved, this would be a great meeting to attend!

Home Tour
Can you give us 2 hours of your time? We still have over 30 spots open and all that is needed is a 2-hr commitment to help monitor one of the 5 homes gracious homeowners in our UPark Neighborhood are opening up to the public for this event. If you volunteer, your ticket to go on the tour is only $10 AND you get to come to the Kick-Off Party on Friday, May 1st. PLEASE VOLUNTEER! SIGN UP HERE
We also need baked goods for the bake sale. Sign up here for your bake sale items.
The other ways you can help make this event a big success are:
- Buy tickets! They are on sale in the office or here. $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the tour.
- Come to the school on May 3rd and visit the local home and garden market, food trucks, bake sale and lemonade stand. See a sneak peek of our vendors here.
- Pass it on! Encourage your family and friends to come out and support the school.

Green Team
Parents: Be part of "GREENING" UPark!
UPark is fortunate to have a third year of funding from GreenUpOurSchools.org for 2015-16, which supports our Student Green Team and ongoing waste reduction projects. The Student Green Team is currently responsible for composting and recycling in the cafeteria and classrooms, as well as Waste Free Wednesdays and other projects to protect the environment. We need a new team of adults to collaborate with Ms. Cardenas (staff sponsor) in the upcoming school year. We meet and organize each month. Please contact Judy Cardenas for more information.
